I am so sorry about the current threat of cuts to the symphony. Ohio’s economy is in trouble, and the only way out is to create jobs- Good High paying technology jobs. To do this we must attract companies. To attract companies we need to impress them with our pool of well educated, highly qualified workers.
But how do we get these workers to make Ohio their home?
By creating a dynamic cultural center; a city filled with arts and entertainment. Because if we dont, those folks whose skills are in high demand will move to Chicago or New York, or any number of other big cities where the lifestyle suits their taste.
So do we need The Arts as a budget priority in the midst of this economic crisis?
